About the Event - Spring Music Festival

Our annual Spring Festival, which typically falls in mid-April, is curated by , an invited performing artist or musicologist of eminence in the role of Festival Artistic Director. The AD’s choice of festival theme permeates all events of the festival such as lecture demonstrations, musical vocal and orchestral group presentations and dance performances, panel discussions including the grand finale concert by the invited artist and accompanying fellow artists. Most of the Artistic Directors have been from India, including a few Sangitha Kalanidhis. Bearing the unique stamp of the Artistic Director’s ideas, creativity and leadership, the CAS Spring festival is enriched in content and caliber and is refreshingly varied each year.
